Sarnafil Installation

1.UV radiation and building movement can cause cracks, splits and blisters in traditional felt. Failure can also result from poor design and installation. Unlike Sarnafil roof assured systems any un trained or un skilled person can install other roofing products.

2. Hidden problems like moisture and rot, build up underneath the existing felt which can not be detected until normally its too late and the problems appear inside the property. As part of our service we supply and fix new decking boards and insulation where required. Correct advice and preparation is critical to the provision of a long term roofing solution

3.A seperation layer/fleece is installed and then the Sarnametal roof edging and water stops are mechanically fastened to the decking boards.

4. The Sarnafil membrane is secured to the roof structure for high protection from wind uplift. Guaranteed design and fixing method in accordance with BS6399:Part 2. All fixings are permanently sealed.

5. All laps, joints and details are permanently welded for maximum strength

6. Steel reinforced details and a proven seal copes with building movement and guarantees a waterproof wall joint.
