Northern Roofline Coronavirus (COVID-19) Precautions
Northern Deckline and Roofline have adapted our working practices so that they can ensure everyones safety when working in your home.
We will contact you on the day of any pre arranged appointments with any of our employees to check if any member of your household are self- isolating or displaying any symptoms of COVID19. If any member of your household has tested positive for CV19 will you inform ourselves as soon as this is possible or when we contact you to arrange a visit or install .if this occurs we will need to defer our works for a minimum of 14 days . Could you also inform us if there any over 70s or any other vulnerable people in the household or neighbouring properties so we can take the appropriate actions . If this is the case we may have to re schedule the works working with the changes to government guidelines as they are announced .
When anyone visits your property they will maintain the social distancing criteria , they will use hand sanitiser and put on the appropriate PPE
Our employees will not shake hands with you but just acknowledge they are there and converse from a safe distance. Please help us to help you by also maintaining the social distance of 2m
You will be asked to stay this distance away during all dates of our install
Sales and initial quotes
Sales talks and quotations will be carried out using electronic means where feasible and any visits will follow the above guidelines
A final technical survey maybe needed if this us so please remain indoors and any questions please ask from a safe distance preferably by texting , calling etc the employee whilst he is outside your property we will give you his number in advance
Please help us to prepare for installation
To help prevent the spreading of the virus please refrain from touching of down pipes , your existing gutters Fascias etc or your existing decking and handrails please . Any part of your house and garden which we will be replacing and having to touch.
Please allow a 3 day period between the cleaning of the outside of your windows and doors and the date of installation
Remove any ornaments or plants from the internal window boards/sills
Installation
Our installers are following the HSE and government the guidance on use of PPE and hand sanitiser
We will not use your toilet or washing facilities during the works on your property we can organise alternate arrangements
Our installers are very grateful for offers of refreshments etc whilst working but please don’t offer them as we are unable to accept during these current times whilst lockdown measures are in place
When we are ready to leave site for the last time and we have completed your works we clear
all debris and waste and remove from site
All disposable items and PPE will be removed from site
We will send your documents electronically where possible.
A follow up call will be made to confirm that you are happy and can operate the installed goods
You will also receive a request to rate your installer and to complete a short questionnaire to confirm that the installation was carried out in accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines
Whilst every precaution is being taken to limit the risks and exposure to the virus, we cannot guarantee that this will be eliminated completely and would encourage you to continue to follow the Government guidelines on social distancing and washing of hands.
