Recent Northern Roofline Installs
Our Recent Installations
Our team of expert roof installers have never stopped during lockdown. The benefit of working outside and people spending more time at home and getting jobs done, means our work levels have barely dropped off over the 12 months and more of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have been able to adapt our procedures to create a safe working environment with hygiene and social distancing absolutely at the forefront of our priorities, but at the same time we have retained our standards of design, workmanship and communication to bring our customers an unrivalled service over the last 12 months. This has resulted in some of our proudest achievements and some examples of our best work during the pandemic, and here we wanted to outline a couple of our most recent examples.
Wakefield
In Ackworth near Wakefield we installed this flat roof replacement. We used our standard flat roofing material which is known as Sarnafil. This is a PVC single-ply membrane flat roofing system, which has a BBA life expectancy in excess of forty years. All our flat roofs use Sarnafil and are immune to movement due to expansion of the wooden structure when temperatures change. Sarnafil is resistant to solar rays, doesn’t blister or absorb water, and is coated with lacquer to make cleaning easy. It is also immune to moss and plant growth, which can grow on a flat roof if left.
With this installation you can see that our team had to incorporate an existing small pitched roof feature. This involved some discussion with the customer over the finished design, and our installers used their expertise to work around the feature and deliver the same standard of finish.
Doncaster
In Doncaster we were faced with replacing fascias and soffits with our long-lasting PVCue system. We had to ensure that the new system matched the home itself and any existing features. The system involved guttering and downpipes, and also matched the bay window design of this home.
Fasicas and soffits are critical in protecting the structure and integrity of a property. They seal the building against the ingress of weather, birds and insects. The plastic material also retains its colour long-term and removes the need to regularly inspect and maintain the fascias and soffits, saving you a big annual task.
We think this installation has resulted in a fresh, new look to the external façade of this property, as well as protecting the internal structure. Needless to say, the customer was delighted with the results.
