What We’ve Been Up To

When we speak to our customer base as we travel around the Yorkshire region, we are always amazed by people’s reactions when they see the vast range of roofing solutions we can provide. In terms of materials, colours and installation techniques, it is clear why Northern Roofline are one of the leading roofing contractor in Yorkshire, but speaking with our design experts will also unveil a wealth of design solutions you perhaps weren’t aware of.

With flat roofing and fascias and soffits we can be presented with many challenges and many different working environments, and the best way to demonstrate to our customer base the kind of roofing solutions we can provide is to offer a summary of our most recent installation jobs. So take a look at three of the jobs we have undertaken in the last few weeks and you might just find some inspiration for your own home.

Dronfield

This was a very large flat roof installation at a property in Dronfield. The space below was vast and the size of the area meant it was practical to also install sun tubes, which allow natural light into a room, and which are far more effective and cost-efficient than installing artificial lighting inside. So we solved a couple of problems for this customer just by carrying out some informal discussions and coming up with a practical design.

Pontefract

Next our travels took us to Pontefract where we were able to transform this flat roof with our usual installation of a Sarnafil uPVC single-ply membrane. This had a transformational effect, made the roof solid and secure and has now given the family peace of mind that their home and extension is protected for many future years.

Wetherby

Finally, in this post in Wetherby, where a family needed a new installation of fascias and soffits. We were able to offer them a colour which they really liked and which they could match with dry verge end caps and drain pipes; a necessary addition and a detail that many people often forget about. This scheme was continued all around the house, including a garage extension which created a great balance and really enhanced the visual appeal of the exterior features of the house.
