New fascias, soffits & gutters for a cricket club in Wakefield

Local cricket club enjoy vital makeover

One of the most enjoyable aspects of our profession at Northern Roofline is helping small businesses and important community assets. Most recently a local cricket club in Wakefield that has been in existence since 1902 and today plays in the Huddersfield Cricket league.

We were only too happy to help when the club’s pavilion building needed a makeover recently. A pavilion is not just a place for the players to get changed, it is the lifeblood and focal point of the club. So when the club called and asked us to replace the fascias and soffits and the guttering and downpipes on the pavilion, we were able to help them with a great value roofing refurbishment which has breathed new life into the club.

An overnight transformation

Before we started, the existing timber fascias and soffits were rotten and splintered, as seen in the pictures and video. The guttering and downpipes were similarly tired and worn and in need of replacement that will last for many years ahead.

Our roofing installation team set to work and transformed the pavilion overnight. We installed white PVC-UE freefoam fascias and soffits, and black PVC-UE freefoam gutters and downpipes. These are high-quality and long-lasting products which will be practical and effective for many years to come, and require very little maintenance.

The pavilion is now reflective of the club’s high standards and helps provides an environment in which the players and the team can thrive. It also gives supporters a sense of loyalty and connection and if it makes visiting opposition teams believe that Denby Grange mean business, and that they are in for a tough afternoon, then all the better!

Our team are delighted with the final result, when comparing the before and after images it is a fantastic transformation aesthetically but most importantly a safe and long-lasting installation for many years into the future.
